Born and raised in South Florida, Capt. “Mutton” Mike offers instructional, guided trips, specializing in showing clients the ropes on their own boats. Mike brings all the equipment you need — a full complement of Gulfstream Customs rods (of course), terminal tackle, and a portable Simrad unit loaded with CMOR Mapping bathymetric imagery.
Fishing options include live baiting, reef and wreck fishing, trolling, kite fishing, and his specialties: deep dropping and swordfishing. Because they require big investments of both time and money, deep-dropping and swordfishing are both hard to get started with. But Mike brings decades of accumulated knowledge plus all the necessary specialized gear.
Perhaps most importantly, though, he’s just a great guy to spend a day on the water with.
